Our Packing List

A typical bag consists of 12 or more items for the child to take home for the weekend. When available, we also like to send a 16 oz. plastic jar of peanut butter in their bag once a month.  

Since we serve 500 children, we need 500 of these items every week. When food is donated, it greatly reduces the food ordering cost to fill all the bags. 

In addition to these items, we also need doubled, flattened, plastic grocery bags ready to be used.

Can of pasta (Spaghetti O’s or similar item)
Package of Ramen
Vienna Sausages
Packet of Instant Mac N Cheese
Envelope of Oatmeal
Envelope of Grits
Poptarts or Small Box of Cereal
Breakfast Bar
Cup of Applesauce
Cup of Fruit
6 Pack of Peanut Butter Crackers
Small Pack of Fruit Chews
Envelope of Microwave Popcorn
Goldfish, Chex Mix, or Trail Mix
16 oz Plastic Jar of Peanut Butter (once a month)

Important Information

Before collecting food items, please read the below information:

Only individual size items can be used (no family or large sizes)
All food must be individually packaged
No glass or breakable containers
No perishable items
Check sell by, use by, and expiration dates and only donate items that are within those dates (we are unable to use any item that is out of date)
